About Us

Saltash Baptist Church is a group of people who meet together to grow deeper in their understanding of God, we are all from different backgrounds, all flawed, none of us are perfect, but we all want to live lives that honour God.

We meet at different times in the week, but one way we meet is on a Sunday morning, you may ask what you might expect well:

We sing: We have a band that lead us in singing songs that talk about who God is

We pray: We believe that God listens and hears our prayers, and we need to listen to what God is saying to us

We listen: Peopls say things about who God might be in their lives, we make sure no-one talks too long though

We enjoy one anothers company: The times before and after the service of sharing together can be really important

What time does the service start?

10.30am, people start to gather about 10am and then the service finishes between 11.30 and 11.45 when we have tea or coffee.

What should I wear?

Some people dress up smartly, some people come in casual wear. The important thing is that you come, not what you wear.

Where can I park?

The church has a small car park, but there is a council run car park within walking distance (see a map here).

What is there for my children?

Please see our Under 18's pages, but we provide Sunday groups where we value and encourage the spiritual development of all ages.

What if I want to make Saltash Baptist my home church?

Whether this is your first time to a church, or you are coming from another congregation, please fill out a welcome form available from just inside the front door and someone will get in touch.

It is not just about a Sunday though, you will see that through the week we have different groups and activities that happen both within and outside our building.
