This New Year we’re astounded at the generosity shown to help save ‘La Bergerie’ primary school. Thank you so much!
The school boundary foundations are being laid and the wall is reaching new heights each day with your help. The builders continue to work in temperatures up to 37° Celsius, and late into the night. On New Year’s Eve they set up the school gate, working by solar light to fill in the concrete pillars which strengthen the wall.
Classrooms are being moved from the old site and reconstructed on the school land by a new team of workers. We still need more building materials: cement, sand, gravel and bricks; items to complete the classrooms; and money to pay workers. We will also need to build latrines.
There’s still a lot of work to do in only a few days! Please continue to think of the children who attend ‘La Bergerie’ school, pray for us, and share our need. Thank you.
